At Can Malacosta we produce handmade jams that are prepared with fresh fruit and free from additives, preservatives or colourings. Since 1993, we have been growing about three thousand plants using irrigation methods on our estate in San Carlos, Ibiza to provide us with the fruit for producing our jams. The whole process is carried out according to traditional methods on our own premises. The fruit is individually selected and chopped by hand before being cooked. Sugar is then added and, once it has been made into jam and cooled, it is poured into attractive glass jars. Due to the natural preparation, the colour of our jams may vary according to the season when the fruit is picked.
