Our beginnings date back to 1925 where the first of the three generations that have gone through the history of this small family business make the decision to set up a small distillery in which to manufacture their own liquors. These are the brothers Juan and Vicente Ferrer.Their parents had a grocery store in the neighborhood of the Marina and over the years they were acquiring distribution rights to drinks which is where this hobby began. Products such as Ibizan Herbs, Palo, Vodka, Rum, Tequila, etc. They were the first drinks that began to be manufactured in the small distillery in front of the maritime station of Ibiza, on Avenida de Santa Eulària. In the 70s, the second generation at 14 years of age, Fernando Ferrer nephew of Juan and Vicente begins to learn the trade and a few years later becomes the manager of the company.
His motivation, desire and youth, drive sales to skyrocket in the 80s increasing the volume of production of various distillates. In addition to this, the needs of the market forced to update and adapt to the needs of the client which made Fernando invest in machinery, in warehouses and above all in continuing to perfect and improve the drinks as well as introducing novelties to the market.
Our products include among others Hierbas Ibicencas, the star product on the island. Traditional drink that dates back more than 200 years. Digestif made from a maximum of 15 plants from the Pitiusas Islands. Our Hierbas Ibicencas have the distinctive seal of Protected Geographical Indication in which we comply with the regulations based on the elaboration of plant collections, etc.
In our case we elaborate Hierbas Ibicencas with a higher graduation (36%) and less sweetness.
